The unofficial start of summer brings with it backyard barbecues, yard work and fun DIY projects for around your home. With so many ideas for your home online, the possibilities you can tackle are endless. Why not use the extra day you have this weekend to get started on something or use all three days to get one project done. The ideas outlined below will have your imagination soaring and your to do list growing. Maybe you need extra storage for all your lawn care equipment, or if entertaining is more your style you can build a table, a fir pit or a rustic cooler stand. A backyard bar for summer entertaining would really make your friends jealous. Enhance all of your summer experiences with a little DIY work this weekend. Have fun and enjoy!
Spring is the perfect time to prepare your home for the hot summer months and start all of those DIY projects you put off during the winter. Some of our favorite spring projects can be done in less than an hour, while others will take a weekend or more. All of them will be worth your time.
I put together this post to kick off summer’s first 3-day weekend, Memorial Day. As we stare down the unofficial end of summer with Labor Day weekend, it seems like a good time to revisit this mega project post. Over the summer I tackled a few of the DIYs but there are definitely a few more that I can knock off my list before the end of this weekend. I’m especially planning to leave time for #7.
