How Does Your dumpster Service Work?

We strive to make dumpster rental as easy as possible! Once you’ve determined the size of the dumpster that will work best for your project, simply give us a call to schedule and pay for the delivery. See Dumpster Sizes for recommendations and common uses.  We recommend ordering a dumpster that’s one size larger than you think you’ll need.Once you’ve filled the dumpster, give us a call to schedule a pickup. If you need another dumpster we can drop off an empty dumpster when we pick up the full one. Standard pricing will apply.

What Can’t I Put Into The Dumpster?

There are some items we simply don’t have the resources to dispose of per EPA guidelines.Those items include:

  • Biohazardous materials/medical waste
  • Paint (although dry paint cans are permissible)
  • Batteries
  • Propane tanks
  • Liquids/Solvents/Freon/Chemicals
  • Equipment containing gas or oil

If you need to dispose of any of these materials, let us know and we’ll direct you to the proper agency.

What do I get when I order Next Day Dumpsters dumpster rental?

Each of our dumpster rentals comes with delivery to your home, office or construction site, a full two week rental and disposal of your trash (up to designated weight limits). The rental period or waste volume may be increased for an additional fee.

How much do dumpster rentals cost?

The price of a dumpster rental is determined by the city of delivery, dumpster size and the type of debris you will be putting into the roll off dumpster.  When you call Next Day Dumpsters we will give you an all inclusive price quote based on these specifications. Remember, because we’re a local company we can give you the best price in the biz!

With Next Day Dumpsters, you will never have to worry about hidden surcharges or extra fees such as delivery charges, fuel surcharges and environmental fees.

How long can I keep my dumpster rental?

All of our dumpsters come with a 14 day rental agreement; however, we understand that sometimes projects take longer than expected. If you need to keep the dumpster beyond the grace rental period, fees will accumulate at $8 per day.

How long does it take to get my dumpster rental?

We know that a timely dumpster delivery is critical to keeping your project moving on time and budget. That’s why we’re committed to making sure you get your dumpster rental within one day of ordering.  Whenever possible, we’ll have your dumpster delivered the very same day!

How much notice do I need to give when ordering a dumpster rental?

It’s always a good idea to book your dumpster as far in advance as possible to ensure its availability and our ability to deliver at a specified time. Keep in mind we’re busiest on Mondays and Fridays.  To ensure that you have your dumpster rental when you need it, we’ll deliver your dumpster within one day of your booking or earlier if possible.

How much trash will Next Day Dumpsters haul off for me?

When you order your dumpster rental, our friendly customer service representatives will let you know the weight limit on the dumpster you order. This is determined by the size of the dumpster-larger dumpsters will hold more trash, and we’re happy to take care of that trash for you!

What kind of debris do you dispose of?

What size dumpster do I need?

Obviously, the size of dumpster you’re going to need will depend on the size of your project. We offer 10, 15, 20 and 30 yard dumpsters. Recommendations are available on our website, or you can call our office and one of our friendly and experienced customer service representatives will be happy to help you reach a decision.

How high can I load my dumpster?

When the dumpster is picked up the driver will put a tarp over the load for containment during transport. We ask that you don’t load any material above the top rails of the dumpster that will interfere with the tarp. Try to keep the load flat and distribute the weight as evenly as possible. If for any reason the dumpster is improperly loaded and cannot be transported safely, you will have to unload the dumpster to a safe level before we can remove it. Additional charges may be assessed.

What if I fill the dumpster and still have “junk” left over?

When we pick up your full dumpster we’re happy to bring you another or, if there’s only a small quantity left over, pick it up at an additional charge.

Who can rent a dumpster?

When it comes to dumpster rental, Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. turn to Next Day Dumpsters first, and for good reason. We rent dumpsters to everyone! Most of our clients are DIY homeowners, businesses, real estate agents, charity organizations and small to mid-sized contractors; however, we have been known to work with major contractors on large industrial construction sites on a case-by-case basis.

Will it damage my driveway or landscaping?

We know that when you mix a dumpster rental, driveway, sidewalk, grass and expensive landscaping, you might be less than thrilled with the final result! Despite our precautions, however, there is always the potential of damage to your property. This damage can be caused by heavy trucks, the weight of the containers or poor surface conditions. Next Day Dumpsters is not financially liable for the damages caused by normal dumpster operation.

Can I put the dumpster on the street?

Each municipality has different regulations and permit requirements concerning dumpsters placed on private property, streets or any other public right of way. Contact your local municipality and they will provide you with the regulations and costs to purchase any necessary permits. Next Day Dumpsters is not responsible for obtaining proper permits.
